2ND MITTWOCH OF ADVENT.............

The key word of the title word of this blog column, "Mittwoch", is German for Wednesday,  literally translating as Mid-Week.  On this Seconf Wednesday, entering the midweek nearing the middle of thoos sacred liturgical season, the watching and waiting in spirit and truth we are invited to consider ways we can practice better outreach to others in gifting them in Faith by what we do or how we respond to them as Advent People.  Deciding to do something simple, yet spiritually significant.  Reaching out to remember them, include them, to make a difference in their life and in the betterment of not only the Community of Believers, but in the Society and the relationships we share.  It is found in the inner and lasting good we experience when we give something of ourselves this Advent and Christmas; something spiritual, social, personal, or communal, that by giving it to another we bring them gladness and joy and receive joy and gladness ourselves.  Pray on this middle day of the second midweek that in Fidelity to your Discipleship in the Coming of Jesus The Christ, our actions will brighten the World and build up God's Kingdom presently and in future glory.............Fr.  Troy David
