AS POPE FRANCIS SURVEYS THE CHURCH U.S. APOSTOLIC NUNCIO ADDRESSES BISHOPS ABOUT NOT PREACHING IDEOLOGY.............

The decision of Pope Francis to take a survey of Catholics worldwide in order to determine our feelings and experiences about Church teachings and practices, on matters such as Contraception, Divorce, and Same Sex Marriage, by means of a questionnaire whose findings will be taken into consideration at the next Synod of Bishops in October 2014, on 'Marriage And The Family' for possible renewal, reform, or revisiting.  At their annual November Meeting this week in Baltimore, Maryland the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, U.S.C.C.B.; are discussing the Supreme Pontiff's latest directive to them and how they are starting to organize their Dioceses to carry out distribution of the papally requested questionnaire to the Faithful.  Catholics in Great Britain are already receiving and respoding a questionnaire and other nations should soon almost have them in circulation.  I will share more with you as understanding and information about it unfolds.  Meanwhile, Pope Francis' personal envoy to the USA and  American Catholics, Archbishop + Carlo Vigano, the Apoostolic Delegate to the United States, speaking to the U.S. Bishops on Monday that must avoid, "preaching ideology", and reminded them the Church must become, "more welcome" of all people.  Vigano, the former Governor of thee Vatican City State is also known to be a reform minded leader in the Renewal and ReInvigoration  of the Church.........................Fr.  Troy David
