SEASON TWO OF DADS GROUP WEEKLY DISCUSSION MINISTRY STARTS TONIGHT.............

Having productively spent ten weeks in the Spring considering  and discussing the book by Pope Benedict, Jesus Of Nazareth - From Holy Week To  The Resurrection; the Sacred Heart Parish Dads Group in East Sacramento, will resume for a second season of ten Autumn sessions tonight.  The focus for this series of weekly shared discussions will be the book, A Concise Guide To The Documents Of Vatican Two, by Edward P. Hahnenberg, Ph.D; The Jack and Mary Jane Breen Chair of Catholic Systematic Theology, at John Carroll University, in Cleveland, Ohio.  As this Year of Faith marking the 50th Anniversary of the convening 9of the Second Vatican Council, (1962-65) culminates, we will read, ponder, and discuss, the writings of the 16 Documents promulgated by the Catholic Bishops of the World at Vatican II, the 21st Ecumenical Council in the History of the Church, and as the most recent one the guiding spirit and truths in the governance and practice of our Discipleship as Catholic-Christians.  As we begin tonight, 7 SacHeart parishioners will be joining with Paul Friedrich and me for the Autumn sessions Wednesday nights through December 18th.............Fr.  Troy Powers
