WHO DID THE CATHOLIC VOTERS CHOOSE IN THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION ?............
During the past two weeks CARA, the Center for the Applied Research of the Apostolate, analyzed that the outcome of the Catholic Vote in the 2012 Presidential Election was Too Close To Call, between Barack Obama, and Mitt Romney, after finding earlier this year that the incumbent President was ahead of the former Governor by fifteen, 54%; to 39%;, among Registered Voters, and lagged with Likely Catholic Voters, until the final week of the Presidential Campaign. Today, the CARA preliminary study of yesterday's General Election voting by Catholics, based on the national estimates of Exit poll data shows that President Obama received 50%; of the Catholic Vote and Governor Romney garnered 48%; of the Catholic Vote with 2%; of the Catholic Vote cast for other candidates. Th exit polls estimate is within one percent of the final Gallup Poll projection regarding Catholic voter preference for President 2012. More to Come on this as CARA analyzes the information behind yesterday's outcome with the Catholic Vote in the 2012 re-election of President Barack Obama............tdp
