REUTERS-IPSOS POLL SHOWS ROMNEY GETS A SLIGHT BOUNCE FROM THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION............

The Reuters-Ipsos Poll last week on the eve of the Republican National Convention shows Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney, by four points nationally - Obama 46%; Romney 42%;.  With the close of the RNC, the Reuters-Ipsos Poll now shows the race nationally, Romney 44%; Obama 42%, a two percent bounce for Romney, despite Obama's drop of four percent, as half of it went to Undecided.  In terms of Likeability, Romney increased four percent, from 26%; last week - 30% now.  Romney is views as a Good Person by 32% of respondents, compared to 29% before the Republican Convention.  President Obama leads Governor Romney by from 10% - 20% in both these catergories.  Among Independents, Romney's Favorability rose from 34% to 45%; and his Likeability from 16% to 20%; in this saqme poll.  Romney's Republican running mate Paul Ryan is found by the Reuters-Ipsos Poll to be viewed Favorably by 47%; and Unfavorability by 53% of registered votes.  1,481 respondents were polled online, and the poll has a credibility interval (margin of error of 3%)............tdp
