CALIFORNIA PRIMARY ELECTION VOTE COUNTS IN THE 9TH AND 30TH HOUSE DISTRICTS........................

With 9% of the vote counted in California Congressional District 30, pushing Democratic incumbent Representatives, Howard Berman and Brad Sherman against one another due to reapportionment,  Sherman has 40%; to Berman with 33%; and the other Democratic, 3 Republican, and one Green Party candidates getting a combined 27% of the vote.  Thus an incumbent versus incumbent campaign for this Los Angeles area House seat will play out to November 6th.  In the 9th California Congressional District, from the San Joaquin Valley to the Bay Area, three term Democratic Representative Jerry McInerney, will be facing 25 year old Lodi native, first generation American, Ricky Gill. With this swing district made more Republican leaning by reapportionment, the young newcomer may have a strong chance to unseat the incumbent, in what will be a highly competitive contest............
