A VERY GOOD FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH DR. LAIDLAW............

Bobby my taxi man took to me to my 2 p.m. first appointment with my new diabetes specialist, Dr. Michael K. Laidlaw, in Rocklin.  The appointment went well and I feel a very good sense of connection with him.  Dr. Laidlaw has known Dr. McMonagle, with whom he shares Scotish-American heritage for the past six years, giving me a further feeling the transition will be a smooth and successful one with him as my new Endocrinologist......I am continuing to take free standing steps a few at a time with my prosthetic leg unassisted, as I have been able to do since this morning.  I will continue doing so into the evening until I go to bed............Fr.  Troy
