A PALM SUNDAY J STREET OUTING THANKS TO JOE AND RUTH............
Joe Gibson phoned me this afternoon and asked if I would like to join Ruth Rosenberg, his significant other and himself, for coffee at Peet's down the street here from Mercy McMahon, which I gladly accepted. It was great to get outdoors in the sunshine of this Palm Sunday afternoon and take a break from the routine of the facility, biding time until dinner. After our wonderful coffee chat outing, I was back in time to belatedly have dinner, which was half a cornish game hen and rice pilaf, with a green salad and italian dressing. Bishop Quinn dropped by my table on his way out ogf the dining room to remind of the priests support group meeting on Wednesday morning and we had a nice chat. `Now to watch 60 Minutes and some Sunday night television............Fr.
