A COUPLE HOURS OUT AND ABOUT SOCIALIZING THANKS TO JOE AND RUTH............

Joe Gibson and Ruth Rosenberg came by at 4 p.m. and took me down the street to Peet's for coffee and conversation, breaking up the monotony of filling another day of being sidelined.  Fortunately, starting tomorrow afternoon, I will resume personally responsibility and control over my medications, with Dr. Reddy's approval, doing what I have done during the past decade outside all periods of hospitalization.  Friends like Ruth and Joe are invaluable in bringing some normalcy to this frustrating time of involuntary exile from doing the Lord's work in parish life............Fr.  Troy
