MIDWEEK MARCH MUSINGS............
Continuing today to identify primary care physicians and diabetic doctors (endocrinologists) to replace the retired Dr. McMonagle, and get my physical therapy sessions resumed, I am making progress in putting new doctors and therapy in place. At my request, Dr. Randy Martin, my Infectious Disease specialist has agreed to provide me with some recommendations for new doctors, as I want to assure anyone I choose to take over from Dr. McMonagle can be fully informed and communicated with by each of my doctors and the hospital. That means choosing from Sutter Health as Drs, Martin, Cookson, and Bhat, are all affiliated with Sutter Roseville Medical Center. I also learned this morning as my current residential location and the transportation challenge of continuing my physical therapy with my preferred personal therapist Quinn McArthur, makes presently continuing with him difficult, that I will need a doctor's order to do outpatient physical therapy across the street at Mercy General Rehab' Physical Therapy unit. At mid morning, Msgr. Ed Kavanagh came to see me and we had a delightful visit catching up, a nice addition to my day. As I get my new doctors / physical therapy needs in hand, next turning to finalizing plans and preparations for my Silver Jubilee Celebration, six weeks from today, May 2, will become the focus of attention............Fr.
