LOUISIANA PRIMARY DAY............
Today Republican Primary voters in Louisiana get the opportunity to cast ballots for their preference for the GOP Presidential Nomination 2012. Despite big wins in Puerto Rico, and Illinois, last week for Mitt Romney, it is Rick Santorum who is strongly favored to win the Louisiana Primary, perhaps by a double digit margin. One of the questions today's outcome may answer is whether Newt Gingrich's campaign has any punch left in it, and can he finish in second place to Santorum, and put Romney in a third place finish. Secondly, will a big win by Santorum in Louisiana, spur him on to run strongly in Wisconsin, the most likely upcoming primary state other than Pennsylvania, where he stands the best chance of defeating Romney presently. Precincts close in Louisiana at 9 p.m. Eastern Time tonight, and I will be online blogging as the results come in............Fr. Troy
