FOUR VISITORS IN LESS THAN TWO HOURS............

From just after 11 a.m. until just before 1 p.m., I received four visitors today.  Msgr. Ed Kavanagh arrived with our mutual friend Frank McNamara and as they were leaving Bishop Quinn came in to see me, having come up to the second floor to anoint one of the other residents.  In the midst of our visit, Joe McNamara, Frank's son and my very good friend dropped by to see me on his lunch hour.  All of the four made for delightful conversation as we caught up on among other things planning for my Silver Jubilee and the permanent prosthetic leg being built.  Their visits along with that of Teres Mugnaini, Monday; Roger Geach, yesterday; and Joe Gibson's continuous visits during the past two months; supplemented by parishioner visits, makes this involuntary exile from parish life more tolerable............Fr.  Troy
