AWAITING RESULTS FROM TODAY'S PUERTO RICO PRIMARY............
With the Illinois Republican Presidential Primary looming on Tuesday, today the Puerto Rico Primary is being conducted. With the primaries and caucuses back and forth continuing to unfold between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, can Romney prevail in this United States trust territory, where he is considered the favorite to win, as he has in Guam and the Virgin Islands; or will Santorum upend him ? How will Santorum's statements during the last several days in regards to English becoming Puerto Rico's primary language for purposes of attaining Statehood, influence and impact the votes cast by Puerto Rican GOP voters ? The precinct polling places closed forty five minutes ago, and first results are yet forthcoming. I will blog as the vote tally rolls out............Fr. Troy
