LONG REIGNING ROYAL GENES............
On February 6, 1952, a twenty five year old princess, afloat on the way to Australia, stepped onto the forefront of the world stage, when her father, the King of England, succumbed to cancer in London. On that day sixty years ago, she became Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and the realm of the British Commonwealth. Over these six decades she has reigned over the British people and now soon to be 86 years old, is closing in on being the longest enduring monarch in British history. Her great grandmother, Queen Victoria, having reigned for over sixty three years, if Elizabeth II has anywhere near the longevity of her own late mother, who lived to be 101 years old, until her death a decade ago; the current Queen may achieve an almost unassailable length of royal service. During her sixty years on the British throne to date, 10 British Prime Ministers and 12 American Presidents have served in Great Britain and the United States. Remaining true to the vow of her youth to faithfully serve, she continues to carry out her duties and in a very changed world, provides constancy and pageantry to her beloved British people............Fr.
