Sister Felicity Brusadelli, OLOL'S DRE, has set with me, this Tuesday and Wednesday night as Confessions time for the Religious Education students in our Parish. That kicks off the Advent / Christmas seasons Confession and Penance Services for 2011. OLOL'S Communal Penance Service with Individual Confessions, will be held on Friday December 16, at 6:30 p.m. Additionally, Confessions will be heard on Saturday December 17, from 3 - 5 p.m.; Monday December 19, at 11 a.m. - 12 noon; Wednesday December 21, from 3 - 4 p.m.; and Friday December 23, at 7 - 8 p.m. Additionally, I will be assisting with Penanc e Service Confessions, at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, in Carmichael; St. John Vianney Parish, in Rancho Cordova; and St. Philomene's Parish, Arden Arcade. Fatrher Pius is likely in addition to OLOL, to be helping at St. Lawrence's Parish, North Highlands; and St. Joseph's Parish, North Sacramento. Tis' the Season when priests and people come together in greater numbers to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation, to prepare to receive the Lord Jesus in a state of grace this Christmas. Here is hoping you mark a place on your December calendar to make a worthy Confession and receive sacramental Absolution...........God's Advent Grace And Peace Be With You, Fr. Troy
