JOAN BOLLARD, A TRUE KILKENNY WOMAN - REST IN PEACE...........

Father Oliver Maher sent me an e-mail overnight, informing me that Joan Bollard, mother of our priestly colleague and St. Kieran's Seminary spiritual director, Reverend Father Daniel Bollard, passed away suddenly in St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.  A wonderful woman, who as a wife and mother to a multi generational line of pub owners, was a woman of deep faith and fidelity to her Catholic-Christian Discipleship, and was a mainstay presence in St. Mary's Cathedral, where she and her late husband had been Fr. Oliver's parishioners for the past thirteen years.  Funeral prayers will be celebrated Sunday evening in the home of her son, Kieran; and her Funeral Mass will be on Monday morning.  My sympathies and solidarity go to Fr. Dan, and the entire Bollard Family, in their bereavement and loss.  God be good to her Forever.  Eternal Rest And Peace Grant Unto  Her holy Soul O Lord,  Alleluia !  Amen !!...........Fr.  Troy
