26TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME AND THE R.C.I.A. JOURNEY OF FAITH IN THE CONTEXT OF MORAL DECISION MAKING...........

 Continuing to pray for the soul of Rev. Fr. Nicholas Phelan, Pastor Emeritus of St. Patrick's Parish, in Grass Valley, California; who passed away Saturday morning; as this 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time begins, Week 2 of our Rite of Christian Initiation Inquiry proceeds, with our first Breaking of the Word session, after our Inquirers dismissal, following the homily at the 8:30 a.m. Mass.  Sr. Lisa Doty, will be conducting that session, and I will then lead the Inquiry session focused on Faith as a Lfelong Journey.  The theme of today's Sunday Scriptures will guide the Inquirers to  consider Moral Decision Making, as the fruit of God's Word proclaimed at Mass today. Time to go over to the church for the 8:30 a.m. Mass, at which I am presiding.  I will be concelebrating the 10:30 a.m. Mass with Fr. Pius, and Fr. Tony , as we are Commissioning for Parish Cathechists for this Religious Education / Faith Formation, at that Mass...........Fr.  Troy
