ST. MARY MAGADELENE, FAITHFUL WITNESS AND EXEMPLARY PENITENT...........

The Catholic-Christian Liturgical Calendar today, honors St. Mary Magdalene, who after her repentance for sin, became an exemplary penitent, and faithful witness to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Mary of Magdala, was afforded the honor of becoming the First Witness to the Resurrection of Jesus, and was given the opportunity to be the person who informed the huddled Disciples and Apostles, that the Master and Teacher was gone from the tomb and had risen from the dead.  She is truly one of the Holy Women of the Gospels, and an outstanding proponent of Forgiveness and Conversion.  May Mry Mgdalene's Commitment to Christ, be a genuine inspiration of the power and necessity of Repentance, Conversion, and New Experiences...........Fr.  Troy
