SOLEMNITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI - LIVING AS THE BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS IN THE CHURCH AND THE WORLD...........

As we come to the last Sunday of June, we affirm anew our Catholic-Christian Belief in the Body and Blood of Jesus, in the Real Presence, "Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity", of Jesus The Christ.  Father John Healy, Mercy General Hospital, popped into my room at 9:40 am, to remind me of the Sunday Mass telecast, live from the Hospital/Rehab Chapel, at 10 am.  Fr.  John presided at a joyful celebration of the significance of the Sacrament of the Eucharist in our lives.  Brief afternoon visits from one of my doctors, Mercy Sister Juiliana Clancy, and Sacred Heart parish Karin Gisele, were surrounded by rest, and afternoon medications, before the Snday evening news and 6 pm Dinner.  I spoke by cell phone and the church public address system to the Sunday Mass congregation and Fr, Piusat OLOL.  He will be bringing my temporary prostheses and sweats tonight, as I start rehabilitation therapy, in earnest tomorrow morning...........Fr.  Troy
