THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS PREPARE DINNER AS WE FINISH OFF THESE RETREAT DAYS OF FRATERNITY AND FELLOWSHIP...........
In recent years the Knights of Columbus in our Sacramento Diocese have prepared the closing night Dinner, for the priests at the annual Retreat. They do a wonderful job of cooking and providing a delicious meal for us, and to bring the days of Retreat to its crescendo. It also affords us the opportunity to tie the sharing of these days into bundled memories, and to conclude the Priests Retreat on a festive note. The Retreat officially concludes on Friday morning, with Morning Prayer, Mass, and Breakfast. Because we have been commuting from OLOL to Christ the King Center in Citrus Heights; the Retreat ends for me and Fr. Pius tonight, as I will preside at OLOL's 8 am Mass tomorrow morning and then get back into the groove of parish ministry. I will also have my Friday afternoon physical therapy session and then a funeral vigil service Friday night...........Peace In The Risen And Redeeming Christ, In Gratitude For A Very Good Week Of Retreat, Fr.
