With news about the killing of Al Qaieda chief terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, still unfolding at this Monday morning hour in the Pacific Time zone, The 2nd Week of the Easter Season proceeds, our most solemn and glorious Catholic-Christian Feast of Faith, in the Resurrection and Eternal Life, attained for us, by Jesus The Christ. Today, is also the liturgical Memorial of St. Athanasius, a leading Bishop and Doctor of the Church in the 4th and 5th Centuries of Christianity. It is also for me, and Reverend Father Eduino Silveira, Pastor of Sacramento's Arden Arcade neighborhood's St. Philomene's Parish; and Reverend Father Paul Schloeder, Retired into Senior Ministry; 24th Anniversary to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ. It was at 11 am, on Saturday May 2, 1987, that the three of us became the Centennial Ordinands of the Diocese of Sacramento, at the hands of then Bishop Francis Anthony Quinn. More about these topics and Election Day in Canada 2011, as today goes forward...........Peace, Prayers, Masses, + Gratitude To You The People Of God We Were Ordained Priests To Minister To,
Reverend Father Troy David Powers, Pastor; Our Lady of Lourdes
