THE SPRINGTIME OIF THE CHURCH HAS SPRUNG MONDAY @ OLOL IS GRAND CENTRAL RECTORY...........
the 8 am Mass this morning was celebrate for the repose of the soul of longtime, faithful, loyal, day Massgoer, parish Lector, Anthony Rudnicki, who died a week and a half ago. Upon my return to the rectory at 8:45 am, it has been a non stop schedule of phones, doorbells, meetings, and administering the parish and my personal affairs. I am awaiting another parishioner who is due here presently to discuss returning to the position of Parish wouldSecretary after having worked in that capacity for several years in the latter years of Father Traynor's pastorate. I welcome her assistance and appreciate her willingness to consider taking up those responsibilities once again. Addressing the parish bills and signing checks, signing Parish Festival solicitation letters. A meeting with a bereaved mother of a 44 year old man, who died over the weekend discussing funeral services for him; a visit from Roger Geach, who came not only to see me, but to check out challenges with our current rectory phones; calling Fr. Eduino at St. Phiomene's Parish to determine from him our Dean, the schedules of other deanery parishes' Penance Services, so to be able to assist them and schedule OLOL's; sorting out the change in the priests health prescription insurance, and problems I am experiencing; followed tonight by a 2 hour Parish Pastoral Council Meeting; and the arrival of my overnight caregiver, parishioner, Larry Wager, has made for a very busy GRAND CENTRAL RECTORY @ OLOL, 1951 North Avenue, sacramento, California USA 95838..........In Christ Jesus Who Bore His Cross and Crucifixion For US, Fr.
