SEASONAL FESTIVITY ENJOYED @ CHRISTMAS DINNER-DANCE BY OLOL PARISHIONERS..........
A delicious and plentiful Mexican food dinner was served last night at OLOL's Parish Christmas Dinner Dance. Families gathered in the church hall to enjoy the feast, which also included a live deejay playing Christmas and a visit from St. Nick, who cand caned the celebration and took photos with those assembled. One of those Santa pics was with yours truly joined by Sr. Felicity and Sr. Theresa. As the pace of December days increases bringing with it this 3rd Week of Advent, the third session of the Parish Advent Series, Monday night; the Communal celebration of the Sacrament of the Aniointing of the Sick on Tuesday morning; the Feeding the Hungry Ministry's Christmas food giveaway on Tuesday; Christmas Confessiuons for Religious Education students on Wednesday; the Parish Advent Reconciliation Service with Confessions Friday morning and evening; and the December Convalescent Mass at Vintage Estates on Saturday morning. An event filled week ahead as we spiritually, pastorally, personally, and communally, ready the way for the Coming ofd the Lord this Christmas, following the increasing Advent Light and Hope of Joy and Gladnbess..........Fr.
