CHRISTMAS DAY : O COME ALL YOU FAITHFUL TO ADORE THE MESSIAH AND KING WHO IS THE WORD AND LIGHT OF LIFE..........

As Christmas Day morning dawns in and around  California, the Joy, Peace, and Light, of the Christ Child prepares to rise over the day and our lives, as we enter into the Gift of Salvation the Infant Jesus presents to us being now as He is, God Made Man, "The Word Made Flesh".  To the manger in Bethlehem, the House of Bread, that places Jesus in the House of David, as was prophetically proclaimed through the significant centuries of watching and waiting by God's Chosen People, has Come the Messiah, the Anointed One, of the Heavenly Father, Who is Jesus The Christ, the Redeeming and Saving Son, of the Living and True God of All Creation.  In OLOL 's Parish a people no longer in darkness will gathered in the church, before the altar, sanctuary, and in the nave, festively attired with the signs and symbols of the Christmas Season :  Nativity Scene, Trees, Evergreens, Poinsiettas, placed near and around the Altars and the Pulpit, as an outward representation of our belief and love for our Lord and Savior, the Messiah of the Universe.  "Joy to the World, the Lord is Come" !!!!!!!!!!, and faithful and fervent Disciples of the Redemmer of Humankind, affirm their Faith in the Gift of Salvation Jesus brings, by sharing in the Sacred Liturgy of God's Word and the Eucharist, in Christmas Joy.  May your Christmas Day 2010, include a heartfelt focus on the Savior, as you join with your family, friends, and fellow believers, in authentically celebrating the Reason for this day and season, JESUS, the one True LIGHT of our lives and God's Creation.  A full Day of Christmas Peace, Joy, Light, Faith, Family, festive Foods, Fellowship, and Fidelity, Be You And Yours..........In Jesus The Christ Our Lord And Savior,   Fr.  Troy
