TIME TONIGHT FOR A PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING..........

It is time to hold the next Parish Pastoral Council Meeting tonight, at 7 pm, which most certainly extend into the 8 pm NBC News special with Matt Luer interviewing Former President George Walker Bush, about his presidential memoirs to be published tomorrow, "Decision Points".  I watched the report on the Today Show this morning, so hopefully the half of the hour I miss tonight won't be too ruin-some.  The Pastoral Meeting is set to discuss the annual ThanksGiving Dinner on Saturday November 20, for the parishioners and the needy in the wider community; the Parish Christmas Party sponsored by the Ladies Council, after the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday December 5; the Christmas Dinner-Dance on Saturday December 11, after the Sunday Vigil Mass; the Parish Advent mission December 7-8-9; and the change in the Baptismal Preparation and Sacramental Celebrations once monthly beginning in Advent.  After we complete the regular Council Meeting, I will have my Parish Ministry Meeting with the Pastor with the Pastoral Council members.  An interesting evening on this first weeknight of early darkness in Pacific Standard Time, for this autumn and winter..........Trying Not To Fall Back Any Further Than An Hour,   Fr.  Troy
