THE ODDS AND ENDS OF PARISH MINISTRY ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE START OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON 2010..........

The Friday before ThanksGiving, and the last days of Ordinary Time, was a mixed bag of parish ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes.  Concelebrating the 8 am Mass with Fr. Tony, then going to breakfast with him, then returning tp my desk to do callbacks and organize the First Sunday of Advent Bulletin, for submission later today.  After clearing my desk and with a few unscheduled hours, I made a visit to see Msgr. Kavanagh and had a nice chat with Victor.  Tonight, I have the Parish Ministry Meeting with the Pastor, with the Collection Ushers.  With the annual Parish ThanksGiving Dinner here at OLOL tomorrow,an abbreviated work week, the ThanksGiving holiday, and Advent 9 days away, a whole seasonal sequence of activities, events, and ministries prepare to unfold..........Until Tomorrow,   Fr.  Troy
