CALIFORNIA DREAMING......STATE BUDGET DEFICIT DOUBLES..........

The 2010 Election is over and now the bad news of California's massive State Budget come home to roost.  The  projected $12.5 billion deficit has more than doubled to $25.4 billion in the current Fiscal Year.  So the financial black hole that the poor economy, Governor Schwarzenegger, and the State Legislature leaves the incoming Brown Administration, Legislature, and the citizens of California is even more horrendously challenging.  Failed leadership and irresponsibility, is the cause of much of this doubling of debt and deficit.  Over promising  and political posturing, that delays necessary action and a hundred day lateness in enacting the 2010-2011 State Budget only hindered the financial crisis.  Let us pray that Governor Jerry Brown will do what he promised in his campaign, hold everyone accountable, and knock heads if he has to, in order to address the deficit and keep it from spiraling further out of control.  The deeper our debt, the longer and harder it will be to return California to fiscal sanity and fiduciary solvency..........Challenging Our Leaders T o Act Forthrightly And Responsibly For The Restoration Of Doing What Is Right, Just, And Necessary,   Fr.  Troy
