THE ARMISTICE THAT BECAME VETERANS DAY IN THE USA; REMEMBRANCE DAY IN GREAT BRITAIN..........
On the 11th Day of the 11th Month, at the 11th Hour, November 11, 1918, at 11am in France, the Treaty of Versailles was signed that ended the First World War (1914-1918). It became known as Armistice Day. Today, in the United States we celebrate it as Veterans Day , honoring all the men and women who have served in our Military during the past century from World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War, Iraq War, Afghanistan War. We thank them for their service and pray for the safety, as express our gratritude personally, and as a nation for the contribution to Peace and Justice they have, and are, making to the world..........God Bless All Our Veterans, Fr.
