BACK IN SACRAMENTO AFTER MY 2010 HIBERNIAN-IBERIAN ADVENTURES..........

From Dublin at 10;20 am, (2:20 am Pacific Time) to Atlanta, and a 7:25 pm Eastern Time departure, our arrival in Sacramento was exactly at 9:32 pm, in Sacramento, and Victor Herrera, was there to meet us and bring us back to Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Rose's  parishes respectively.  Terra firma, Home Sweet Home, California !!  A10:30 pm return to Our Lady of Lourdes and new keys from Sister Felicity, who was awaiting for the two rectory locks, Father Traynor needed to change while I away, my second wind after being awake 25 years and making the 6,000 miles journey back, has me unpacking and surveying the scene before bedding down for first sleep at 2:30 am Saturday morning.  On this 9-11 day, I have a Funeral Mass at 1 pm, followed by the luncheon reception, 4 pm Confessions, and 5 pm Mass, to resume my priestly ministry as Pastor at OLOL.  More To Come.
